The Challenge

Visrom runs construction projects across East Africa with a workforce of 200+ spread over multiple sites. Payroll was handled manually in-house — variable hours, site allowances, and Kenyan statutory deductions made it slow, error-prone, and a constant compliance risk.

The Results
40%
Faster payroll — 3 days down to 1.5 per cycle
25%
Lower cost of the outsourced payroll function
Zero
Compliance penalties — down from 3–4 incidents a year
CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
“Before Bogner & Partners, payroll was a constant source of stress. With over 200 employees across multiple sites, mistakes were inevitable and always costly. Their team brought structure and accuracy to a process that was consuming far too much of our management time. We have not had a single compliance issue since the handover.”

The Work

What the team handles

Most of the work is the weekly rhythm of getting 200+ people paid correctly: hours that change from site to site, overtime that depends on the project, allowances tied to where someone worked, and statutory deductions that have to be exact. Every cycle, each of those has to resolve into a single correct number per employee — and that number lands in a real person’s bank account.

The team works inside Visrom’s own payroll systems and runs the full cycle end to end — collecting timesheets from each site, checking them against project records, calculating pay and deductions, and issuing payslips. Routine cycles run on a fixed cadence; the exceptions — a mid-week transfer, a disputed timesheet, a changed statutory rate — get caught and resolved before payroll is finalized, not after.

What makes it work is that nothing goes out on a single pair of eyes. Every payroll run passes a two-step verification, and a dedicated compliance officer keeps PAYE, NHIF, NSSF, and Housing Levy calculations current with Kenyan law. The result is the thing Visrom cares about most: people paid right and on time, with no penalty letters from the authorities.

It’s exacting, deadline-driven work — a fixed pay date every cycle, with no room to be late or wrong. The kind of work that’s invisible when it’s right and immediately, expensively visible when it isn’t.

Team Design

Each specialist was recruited with Kenyan construction-payroll experience and trained on Visrom's site structure, employee categories, and compensation rules. The team structure included:

Operational Setup

The team runs under German account management and integrates into Visrom's existing payroll systems — no new software required. Timesheets from every site flow through standardized templates and a two-step verification before payroll is finalized, catching the errors that used to slip through manual processing.
